Soul Brothers – A tribute to the Blues Brothers

Event Info

“SOUL BROTHERS”
Chris & Geoff Dahl’s Hilarious Tribute To The Blues Brothers
In 1994, as a tribute to the 1980 movie “The Blues Brothers”, Chris and Geoff Dahl, of
London, Ontario, donned borrowed black suits and pork pie hats for an appearance at a
Toronto blues festival. Their natural humor and physical appearance, combined with
their crazy stage antics made them the hit of the festival. Since that date, the brothers
have performed all over the world, at concerts, clubs and corporate events, as an opening
act, headliner, even half time entertainment at sporting events. Their travels have taken
them from Canada’s high Arctic to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Germany, Mexico and the USA.
Their repertoire includes R’n’B and rock’n’roll hits from the 50s and 60s and other crowd
pleasing classics. They have stretched the concert in the original Blues Brothers movie
into an energetic, crowd involving 90-minute show. Chris’ soulful vocals, Geoff’s hot
harmonica playing and the duo’s comical dance moves make for exciting, high camp
entertainment. But hold onto your drinks folks! Anything can happen. The hard partying
Soul Brothers make their debut appearance at Coco Cabaret.
